Questions people ask
Does it cost more to book a cruise through MyCruiseMonkey than directly with the cruise line?
No. Cruise lines pay travel agencies a commission out of the fare, so the cruise price you pay is the cruise line's own price for that sailing and cabin. We do not add booking fees to cruise fares.
Can you actually get a lower price than the cruise line website?
Sometimes, and we will tell you plainly when we cannot. Cruise lines control their published fares, but agencies can access promotions, group space and perks that are not always shown to the public, and we check fare types, sail dates and cabin categories side by side to find the best value. After you book we keep checking, and if the fare drops before final payment and the line allows a re-price, we request it for you.
Who takes my payment?
Your deposit and final payment go to the cruise line through our host agency booking system. This website never asks for or stores card numbers.
How fast will I hear back?
A cruise specialist replies within 24 hours, usually much sooner during business hours (Mon to Fri 9am to 7pm ET, Sat 10am to 4pm ET). You choose whether we email, call or text.
What does "true total price" mean?
Cruise fares are usually advertised per person before taxes, fees and port expenses, and most lines add daily gratuities onboard. We quote the total for your whole cabin including taxes and fees, and we list gratuities and any optional packages separately so nothing surprises you.
